FAQ Silicone-Based Perimeter Bonding Adhesive

Silicone-based perimeter bonding adhesives designed for long-lasting hold. Ideal for active clients and oily scalps, they help keep hair systems securely in place through everyday movement and demanding lifestyles.

Do I need to shave my head fully?

No. Silicone perimeter bonds attach along the hairline, so clients keep their own hair and skip a full shave.

Are these adhesives good for active lifestyles?

Yes. They are designed for clients who lead active lifestyles and need a dependable bond that lasts through sweat and movement.

Are they suitable for oily scalps?

Yes. They are formulated with oily scalps in mind, helping provide a reliable bond where excess oil can be a concern.

How long does PermaRite 1 hold?

PermaRite 1 and PermaRite 1 Plus are built for long wear, with a hold of about 4 to 5 weeks depending on body chemistry, activity and climate. Apply in thin layers and let each one cure before the next.
