FAQ Lace Tape

Lace tapes are designed for lace front and lace base hair units, with a low shine finish that stays discreet under the lace. Choose Extreme Lace Tape for the longest hold, Fantastik Tape for lace bases, or Blue Liner Lace Tape for a thicker, stronger strip.

Which lace tape holds the longest?

Extreme Lace Tape is one of the strongest tapes available, with an extended wear of about 4 to 6 weeks depending on conditions. It works on lace and on skin and poly bases, and it holds on its own with no added liquid adhesive.

Why does lace need a special tape?

Lace is open and fine, so a shiny tape shows through it. Lace tapes like Fantastik use a low shine, dull finish and a formula made to grip lace mesh, so the tape stays hidden at the hairline.

What is Blue Liner Lace Tape?

Blue Liner Lace Tape is a 7 mm thick lace tape with a stronger hold built for extended wear. The thicker strip gives a firmer bond at the front and sides, where lace units see the most movement.

Can I use lace tape on a skin or poly base?

Extreme Lace Tape works on both lace and skin or poly bases. Fantastik Tape is made specifically for lace. For a daily wear option on skin bases, see Clear Tapes.
