Yes. Dermalace Plus (also written Derma Lace Plus) is a water-based liquid hair system adhesive made for lace front and full lace systems. The non-toxic, non-flammable formula dries clear. Apply it to your scalp, never directly onto the lace, so the bond stays flexible and the lace stays clean.

How long does Dermalace Plus hold?

Most wearers get about two to three weeks per application. Hold time depends on scalp prep, natural oil, sweat and activity level. The flexible bond resists everyday moisture and sweat, but extended water exposure such as swimming will shorten it. Avoid soaking the bond or heavy workouts for the first 24 hours.

Is Dermalace Plus safe for sensitive skin?

Dermalace Plus is a non-toxic, water-based formula suited to all skin types. Water-based adhesives are generally gentler on the scalp than many other liquid adhesives. Still, patch-test behind the ear and wait 24 hours before your first full application. A clean, oil-free scalp also helps. See our scalp preparation products.

How do I apply and remove Dermalace Plus?

Shake well and clean the scalp with the NX-Gen Effects regimen to remove oils and old residue. Apply four coats to the scalp, building up with each layer and letting each dry clear. Press the base down for a full bond. To remove, soak the base with an adhesive solvent from our removers collection for about a minute before lifting. Don't pull, because lace tears if the bond hasn't loosened.
